Day 27 - Part 2

Ok. By 9:30 we had been up for 3 hours and done everything we could think of. Make breakfast, eat breakfast, wash dishes, play card games galore and go for a walk. So we changed our mind about staying at the campsite (no swimming...remember) and go for a drive towards the San Francisco Peaks. We had a beautiful drive up the mountain where we discovered that some forest service roads were still closed to the ongoing fire. We got lots of great pictures (coming later...need quicker internet) and had a fantastic picnic in a beautiful meadow. The weather quickly changed to rain, so we headed back the campsite for dinner, sunset and bed.
